Marc A. Pounds, CPA
Senior Manager

A graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Marc received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting in 1999. He has been with Pisenti & Brinker LLP since 2009 as a senior manager in taxation and assurance services.

Prior to joining Pisenti & Brinker LLP he was with the firm of Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in Santa Barbara. Marc performs and manages audit, review and compilation engagements for clients. His experience reviewing and documenting internal controls, identifying strengths and weaknesses, developing sound practices, has translated well into assisting entities of all types. Marc also performs and manages tax engagements for all entity types and individuals. He has experience in multi-state taxation. His ability to evaluate multi-state nexus for all types of entities assists clients in developing strategic plans that extend beyond the state border. Marc provides accounting assistance to existing assurance and tax clients to help them maintain accurate records in order for them to make better business decisions.

Marc serves on the board of the Petaluma Health Center. He resides in Petaluma, CA with his wife Kelly and their three children. In his leisure time he enjoys travel, golf, and attending sporting events.
