Matthew J. Brewer, CPA

Matt is a graduate of Sonoma State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.  He is a Partner in taxation and assurance services and joined Pisenti & Brinker LLP in 2012. Matt provides corporate, partnership and individual tax planning and compliance services and oversees audit, review and compilation engagements. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Matt was named one of the 2018 North Bay Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 and is a member of Class 33 of Leadership Santa Rosa.

Matt is on the board for Social Advocates for Youth (SAY), serves as a member of SAY’s finance committee, and chairs their audit committee. He has supported the organization by participating in their “One Cold Night" fundraisers, sleeping outside for one night so that homeless and at-risk youth don’t have to. Matt is also a long-time member of the Sebastopol Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and serves as Treasurer.

A native of Sonoma County, he currently resides in Santa Rosa with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family camping, kayaking and enjoying the outdoors.
